Guideline 1: What you will need.

* iPod-USB cable
* Your computer

Guideline 3: Hook up the iPod

Plug the small end of the cable, which is the USB connector, toward the USB port on the computer system. This can be established by the USB logo design. Plug the other end of the cable, which is called the dock connector, in to the base of your iPod.
